Why It Matters
What a Licensed Tile Installer Does That a Handyman Doesn't
Substrate prep
Floors are checked for flatness and movement before a single tile goes down. Uncoupling membranes where Arizona slabs need them.
Waterproofing
Showers get a Schluter KERDI membrane or a traditional mud bed. Not a liner stapled to studs.
Layout & leveling
Cuts planned so they land where you won't see them. Leveling systems on large-format tile so there's no lippage to catch a bare foot.
Accountability
ROC #311992 means the Arizona Registrar of Contractors stands behind the license. Insured. The same crew from estimate to final cleanup.

Common Questions
Tile Installation FAQ
How much does tile installation cost per square foot in Phoenix?
Our labor runs roughly $10 to $25 per square foot depending on tile size, pattern, substrate preparation and whether old tile has to be removed. Large-format, mosaic and natural stone sit at the higher end. Tile material adds $2 to $25+ per square foot. A standard bathroom floor of 50 to 80 square feet runs $800 to $2,000 in labor.
Do you supply the tile or do I buy it?
Either. Many homeowners pick tile themselves at Arizona Tile, Floor & Decor, MSI or Monterrey Tile and we install it. If you prefer, we recommend options that fit your budget and the room, and we can source it for you. We supply the setting materials: Schluter, Mapei and LATICRETE systems.
How long does a tile floor installation take?
A typical 300 to 500 square foot floor takes 2 to 4 days including demo, substrate prep, setting and grouting. Whole-home floors and large-format tile take longer because every piece must be leveled to avoid lippage. You get a firm timeline at your free in-home evaluation.
Can you install large-format tile and porcelain slabs?
Yes. Large-format porcelain (24x48 and larger) is a specialty of ours. It requires flat substrates, a leveling system and the right trowel and mortar, which is why it goes wrong in inexperienced hands. We install it on floors, shower walls and feature walls across Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Do you repair cracked tile or regrout?
Yes. We replace cracked or loose tiles, match existing tile as closely as possible, and regrout showers and floors. For small repairs there is a minimum service charge, which we tell you up front.
